          劉心元博士,南方科技大學教授,國自然優秀青年基金獲得者,入選教育部特聘教授(青年)。2001年在安徽師范大學化學系獲學士學位,2004年在安徽師范大學與中科院上海有機研究所聯合培養獲碩士學位,師從王紹武教授和朱仕正研究員;2010年在香港大學獲哲學博士學位,師從支志明院士。2010年4月至2012年9月先后在香港大學和美國The Scripps Research Institute從事博士后研究。2012年9月任南方科技大學化學系副教授,2018年晉升為終身教授。目前為止,以通訊作者身份在自由基不對稱化學等領域發表高水平研究論文近60篇。其中包括影響因子大于10的論文如Nature Chemistry、Acc. Chem. Res.、Chem、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem.、Nat. Commun.近30篇。


          2017年獲得國家優秀青年科學基金和教育部青年特聘教授(青年),并榮獲2017年日本化學會杰出講席獎和2019年中美華人教授會杰出教授獎等多個獎項,主持十余項科研項目。包括國家自然科學基金優青項目1項,重點項目1項(CO-PI),面上項目1項,青年基金1項等。目前擔任J. Fluorine Chem.編委。
